Notes+ is a note-taking application that can be used with a variety of purposes, like a diary to write down important events of your life or to store notes related to your work or studies. It is the server-side application that works with Notes+ for iOS, allowing you to synchronize your notes between your PC and iPhone or iPod Touch. Note+ for iOS devices is available for download from the App Store.
Within a simple environment, the application is able to handle thousands of notes and arrange them into categories, which facilitates navigation and search. You can create as many categories as you find necessary to organize different types of data. The application interface is divided into three panels; to the left there is a tree-like structure for categories, and to the right, the app shows the notes contained within a category with details such as its title, the date it was created, and whether it is password-protected.
Creating a new note cannot be easier, you simply choose a category and click the 'New note' button. The fact that the application supports auto-save lets you focus on your notes content without worrying about losing information. If you want a certain note to be visible to you only, you can create a password using the lock icon on the toolbar. And that's pretty much it.
Overall, the application works quite well; I liked the way it organizes your data and the fact that you can password-protect specific notes. However, it lacks many of the features one may expect from an application like this, for example: it doesn't support text formatting, what makes it a bit boring, it is not possible either to add attachments, or insert links or pictures.
